Trump vs the Climate: Which side are you on?

Climate change is an ever more urgent threat. 2016 was the hottest year on record. In the Alps, glaciers have lost half their volume. And killer heat waves are expected in South Asia this summer.

Faced with this, Donald Trump has withdrawn the US from the Paris climate agreement. In doing so he has turned his back on the USA’s responsibilities, on science and on the welfare of millions of people.

The next few years are crucial if we are to have any chance at keeping the climate safe. We cannot stand by while Donald Trump takes a wrecking ball to global efforts to prevent catastrophic climate change.

Please will you pledge to do whatever you can – starting today – to keep up the fight.

Across Africa, we are already dying from killer droughts. We cannot let one man abandon the climate, when millions are trying to save it (and our lives).

The US is going rogue on climate change – the world must unify in treating Trump as a pariah and not as an excuse for inaction.
